Public Tours
Public tours of this world-class facility are offered by appointment only. Please call 907-263-2900 to arrange a tour time. Tours begin in the Harrison Lobby which may be entered from 5th or 6th Avenues at F Street. Please check in at the Alaska Center's Administrative Offices.
Backstage Tours for School Age Children
Tours for school time groups or organizations sponsoring after-school programs may be arranged. Dates and times are dependent on staff available and the availability of backstage spaces. Rehearsals and technical work sometimes prohibits access to stages. Tours usually last 45-60 minutes. Tours may be arranged by emailing Julie Millington or calling 907-263-2920.
The Atwood Concert Hall Orchestra Pit can hold up to 90 musicians, their instruments and a full size piano.
