Summary
As our event security officer, you are the one responsible for ensuring safety and security for the public during performances. You are there to monitor security equipment, verify no one is attempting to bring in unauthorized items into the building, and respond to potential crises. This position includes front-facing with the public at our weapons detection system, as well as working in a fast-paced environment and performing interior and exterior rounds.
To thrive in this position, you must have solid customer service and interpersonal skills, be comfortable working with and learning new technology, be able to de-escalate tense individuals, and remain calm in emergencies.

In a typical day, you will:
Perform security rounds around the building.
Utilize technology to verify no weapons enter the building.
Communicate with the Security Manager and third-party security officers on event security information.
Hours per week may vary. Events can be any day of the week. A typical shift is 3-6 hours. Those hours extend depending on performance times, which can be as late as 11 pm.
